Can you help me name my lampshades?

I have some hand embelished lampshades which I havent had out to sell for a while as after the initial flurry of interest they just werent selling and I lost my pride in them. I have listed them on my Groovycart shop and I have had positive feedback from other store holders. One suggestion was to give them a name like "regency" "Deco" "victoriana" etc but I havent the confidence to be able to do this. Is anyone up on periods and could suggest what each one should be or is there anyone who could suggest another way of naming them?

I think the shades are too funky to be called Regency which is more of a laura ashley type name. Something like 'Miss flirty skirt' for the blue fringed one perhaps! I don't know what your customer base is but your website looks fun and i think you don't want to be too serious with the naming of your shades.

Not much help on the naming for the styles sorry, but the green beaded one is very 'flapper' style - just needs a sort of feather boa at the top to complete the effect

I reckon you should have some products on the home page, rather than having to go looking for them. The shades are very sweet, and would suit fun names, like flapper (as mentioned above), flibbetygibbet, sparkles, twinkletoes etc. I would also suggest that rather than saying that the two shades are not quite the same, you should say something along the lines of -each item is handcratfed and therefore unique, items in the same range will be similarly made but as each item is handcratfed and therefore unique they will not be completely identical etc.
I suggest that they are too cheap (!?) One of most people's main stoppers is the postage cost, how about raising the price and including postage?? £7.50 each with free postage seems more of a bargain - sometimes if things are inexpensive, people expect them to be tatty - I don't think that these are.
Lastly, put the sizes on and make more!!

Basically what Tootles said. They are a lovely product, big them up a little, say how gorgeous they are. I would definitely charge more for them too

A few years ago there was a woman who did the same fairs as me who 'made' lampshades. Hers were just like yours, but she decorated them with feathers (pheasant, grouse etc) she charged £80 +! The linen shades were over £100.

I have one that I have adorned with gorgeous feathers - must add it if I can ....and the one with the black boa - forgot about that one! These and some of the others I have in stock either havent been photographed yet or simply are too difficult to photo - will get choirboy to do a proper photo of them for me.

Two Sheds, it's under hand crafted items on the left hand side. I agree with the earlier comment that pictures on the main page would be better, I almost gave up before I found them.

Whilst I was reading the thread I thought of 'Shady Lady' - have visited the site, could use either for a shade or instead of 'hand crafted'? I know it sounds slightly naughty, but hey.
