Well, spent 20 minutes getting the car out of garage yesterday evening (Was snowed in), spent another 30 minutes getting it back in last night, as road was solid ice and car did not want to go to bed...

Today sowed more chilis, and some assorted border flower seeds, went shopping great fun, roads and carparks frozen.

Cleaned firepit, (dont know why as it is alight again )

Just going to cook dinner, so all in all not a great weekend, not much done really.

We finished painting a cupboard I made for Kazzis craft room. I also caught up with my seed sowing and made a start with de cluttering my workshop.

Well, woke up late-ish today (08:30) and was so pleased to see some weak sunshine that I decided to clear out my shed, meaning that I could move the clutter out of my greenhouse and into the newly emptied shed, and get the greenhouse ready for the spring.

I then decided that the greenhouse could do with a good wash - which it got, both inside and out! OH took all the rubbish from the shed, and a heap of green waste, too big for the composter, to the local tip. Don't know what came over him, but on his return, he asked me if I would like another greenhouse - as well not instead of the old one, so we have decided on a lean-to type which we will put against a south west facing wall.

Then, this afternoon, went to watch younger son play for Jersey u.19 rugby, against a team from Essex, in a national competition, and we won 19-18, so we all went home happy.
        Never say never!

              Thanks, Snadge.

I'm pleased with how they are coming on - and I'll be cock-a-hoop when they are done, and with the paths too.

Made an Upsy Daisy cake for my friends little girls 1st birthday.....& a wonderfully huge mess in the process spreading all the way from the kitchen, through the living room & into the dining room!!!(still need to clear up)
Then spend 2 hours in the freezing cold this afternoon at the park with the kiddies.
Tonight....to get out of cleaning up cake mess....I may transplant my leggy tom seedlings.(sorry if it's non~moon, but they really can't wait!)

I have achieved losing my handbag which will result in hassle for weeks til I can sort all the lost cards etc. Hmmpf. And cleaned thr house, done loads of washing and sowed loads of seeds. (still got loads of snow)

OH has used the biggest drill I have ever seen and made a hole in the utility to fit an extractor fan.

I haven't had a very productive weekend, although I did a load of laundry, as I knew I could get it dry.

Today the dog has developed the squirts again, so I've been cleaning carpets, rugs, towels etc. Got in the swing of it and cleaned everywhere aaaaarrrrggh . Then cleaned out the Chooks.

                    Still, at least it's done!

Erm. It took me a while but I've come up with: Got seed box out with intention of doing lists and plans (just looked aimlessly but happily at backs of packets); did lots of laundry *clutches at straws*; made nice dinner last night. Blimey I've been rubbish this weekend. In defence, had plasterers doing top bedrooms, and Mr R painting woodwork up there, so mainly been on baby duty.

Glad I'm not the only one Rhona! Sometimes it's difficult to recount what you've done - where did the time go?

(Oh yeah - on the Vine lol!)

                          Including two leave days.
                          Thursday.
Stripped the living room of all furniture and lifted the old carpet & underlay and tipped the underlay. Woollen carpet will be used as weed membrane.
                          Friday.
Took off the new double doors as they were too tight for the fitter to lay the carpet.
Took son to A&E to have his arm checked after he ran into another pupil during PE and caused her to somersault over his head and land breaking her ankle. He said the pain in his arm was the same as when he broke it last year. after an X-Ray it was found to not be broken,
Put all the furniture back in the living room, cleaning everything as I did.
                          Saturday.
Took a bit off the doors and rehung them.
As a reward her indoors let me go to my Rugby Club and watch both six nations matches on the big screen with £2 per pint IPA. At least the French & irish played proper rugby, rather than the merged game of rugby-tennis that England attempted.
                          Sunday.
As my club had hoped to sweep the snow off our 1st team pitch and play a league fixture, the dog and I went to watch, but it was not successful, so after a good ball throwing walk we went home.
Finished insulating & lining the back wall of my workshop and started on the last, side, wall, but ran out of screws to fix the Homebase Loft boards (chipboard). Getting quite toasty in there now what with the double-glazing 'n all.
