What's the strangest named wine you've ever had?

Just reading through the "tonight I'll be eating" and someone mentioned a very strange named wine they were having with their supper (sorry, I can't remember who! )

The weirdest named wine I've ever had was "Cat's pee on a gooseberry bush" and yes, we did only buy it because of it's name, and it was a few years ago. It wasn't that bad if I remember rightly. I'm not sure what make or model it was tho.

What's the strangest wine you've ever had? (with its proper name if you can remember), also is it still available, and where from?

I but a bog standand vin de table from France when we go called "Pigasu", it just seems very apt and actually, isnt bad as a quaffing wine.

Just remembered - our friends bought back from France a bottle of red wine called "Pisse Drew" - my OH being called Drew!

The one we found was called PISSE-DRU, a beaujolias nouveau (we giggled all the way back to the ferry calling it "pissed R U", because we reckoned that was the purpose of it, yeah, I know silly and obvious).
There are some beers with some weird names. The easily-offended tried to get "The Dog's Bollocks" banned, but it was pointed out that it has been made with that name for a very long time......

My old fave has already been nabbed, Pisse Dru. I dont like it, not a beaujolais drinker, but always buy some for novelty value when popping across the channel.
There is another one I've seen called Farte, which was available in Serres Chevallier when I was working there a few years ago. I beleive its a skiing wine, as to "farte" your ski's is the process of waxing Nordic or Langlauf ski's.

They used to sell a cheap plonk in one of the wine warehouses in Calais called "Dogs Bollocks". Never fancied trying it, can't think why.

My Oh has just reminded me of the wine we loved in Canada, dont know if they sell it anymore as it was 18 years ago, googled it too but cannot find it, it was called Crack Oil wine.....it was delicious.

First time I saw "Dog's bollocks" on the blackboard at my local I thought it was a new bar meal. Long time ago could get "Crazy Wine", it came in a bent bottle - a nice, brain-damaging red. Have got a bottle of Nuits St. Geordie and another of Chateau de L'ongbenton, from a local printing company giveaway, but you have to live in the Northeast to understand the sublety of the names...

Two here.

One is a local red called 'Arse', name of the Domain it comes from.

And there's an apero called 'Lillet'.

Can't tell you name of this one, it cost the equivalent of 25p a bottle as students we drank it in copious amounts and what happened for the next 12 hours was a total blur, i think it must have had antifreeze or something in it, it was seriously bad! 'Amnesia' perhaps, can't remember.

Had some once called 'le Plonk'. It was horrible. Gave it to my brother. He quite liked it but will drink anything.....
