  • Am I right or too fussy?

Just gone out to get something from car and my neighbour is washing his car AGAIN. I asked him if he would stop doing it during this cold spell as the water runs down and pools outside my drive, thus making it lethal in a morning, he told me to pee off and we argued. I said that normal people washing their cars once a week is great but he does his the minute he gets a splash of mud on it......it drives me daft..........revving engines at 11pm at night..vaccuming at 8am on a sunday morning.

I aint a moaner but he is so inconsiderate, his car is cleaner than mine and I have driven in the mud!

    ranting again I know
Dont worry about tomorrow, live for today

      Slash his tires lol.

No seriously, if he is revving his engine at 11pm then that can be a case for the local council or whoever deals with noise and antisocial behaviour.

Sounds a bit excessive to me (him not you), but then my OH has only washed our cars once since we moved here 13 months ago!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to do mine when I had a small car but won't do this one as it's too big. So I wait and wait for him.

It could backfire on him when he goes to pull away in the morning and can't get moving..............

PS Or even get his key in the lock...........

                  Send him to Coventry.
You don't have to speak to him.
If he speaks to you just ignore him.

Sad wotsit obviously has no life and nothing better to do with his time. Next time he's doing it, ask him to do yours too.

If he refuses, I'd be inclined to go with Lynda's pink custard lol!

For some reason a certain type of man seems to get OCD about his car. We have two living on our road, one who gives it a thorough clean every other day, - including Fabreezing the boot - the other I've heard tinkering with his at 2am. He always wears surgical gloves before he touches it, which seems a little extreme too. And yes, the whole area around their houses is covered in frozen foam. Don't know what to suggest, Allotmentlady, short of hoping he soon gets a life.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Now I'd be really suspicious of someone cleaning his car inside & out at 2:00am....whilst wearing surgical gloves!!!
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

You neighbour has obviously never kissed a girl, never mind having a girlfriend, he is the weirdo on your street.

ignore him or it might be catching.

                              Obsessive- yup!

Icy pavements..dangerous- and you're quite right to make him aware/complain.

Is there another neighbour who he gets on with who can approach him about what is clearly a danger to anyone walking by??
