  • Booked holiday yay

Ok, so not garden related, but I booked my next holiday. Well I booked flights, the rest I will do when I get there. I'm flying into Beijing in China and 3 weeks later flying out of Hong Kong.
I can't wait, China is somewhere I have wanted to go to for ages, but always end up going other places instead. Yay.

And, also pleased as I have been looking to move house and have just realised that a really nice house I had ruled out as the garden wasn't big enough has some allotments only a couple of minutes walk away. Just need to find a buyer for my house now.

Thanks very much. I have to find a buyer for the house first. We have already had one holiday since putting it on the market. Just dropped the price a little, so hopefully one might come along now.
And you can never have too many holidays.

Fab Blossom! We've yet to book ours but we're going to Holland with my in-laws. I'll only admit this on here... My first thought was - I wonder if I can go to any gardens and what Tulips I could get>

              I admit:

Go to the Gougenhoff gardens Shortie, its outside Amsterdam but its well advertised and you can get a train to it. Don't know what it will be like this time of year as we always went in the spring.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Hmmm.... I prefer Dahlias Nick.... might just have to think of that instead - can't come home empty handed, just wouldn't be right!

I know this is going to sound cheeky - and I understand if you'd prefer not to say, but how much were the flights? per Person...

Doesn't bother me at all, it is the first thing I always ask people.
Flying from Manchester on November 5th to Beijing, coming back from Hong Kong to manchester on the 25th of November, flying with air france.
£375 each including all taxes etc. Booked through Opodo.

We were thinking of going to Thailand (again), good thing we decided against it by the sounds of it.
