The ickle tiles were a bad call right from 6 years ago when first fitted. The bathroom is really quite nice, its part timber clad and painted with farrow and ball paints. Just the tiles let it down before I savaged it fitting the new soil pipe. Once the hall and stairs are done its into the bathroom.

I now need to get into the loft and chop about the old rafters so the pipe goes straight up.

I move house on Monday so my house is turned upside down just now.

On emptying my closet I found a plastic airtight storage bag (the ones that you have to vacuum closed) I remember meaning to throw it away as my cat had clawed it so it wasnt airtight anymore. So tonight I took 3 wire coat hangers and a roll of heavy duty duct tape and made a long cloche for my new veg bed...

Blue Peter eat your heart out - I knew I'd made a good job as i've actually managed to seriously impress my hubby with my craftsmanship!!

I'd have took a pic but my cameras in a box.....somewhere. (Pics coming soon!)

And only count lifes sunny hours,
For her dull days do not exist,

After the week we have had I darn't write a list. On Monday morning we awaoke to dripping in the kitchen. Water coming down through the light fitting. We renewed our shower at christmas. Anyway after taking up the carpets and floorboards, inch of water under the floor on the landing. By this time Im getting worried as we did refit our bathroom last year, I would rather take the ceiling down than touch the new laminate flooring. The leak was caused by two pipes going through the wall to feed the shower. It has all ben fixed now. Plumber has renewed all the pipework and we have been drying it out. So I have spent today getting the house straight again.
So Mr Herbie already has a list:
        Repair coving in the bathroom
Repair the coving in the kitchen
        Treat and paint kitchen ceiling
Repair the boxing in next to shower.
        Finish raised beds
Put blind back up in bathroom.

And lots more besides but he has already tidyed his shed! Still let him off as he has had his work cut out this week, as he has been looking after the kids!!

The hall stairs and landing now move on swiftly.

The hallway oak flooring is now laid and the soilo pipe is now up into the loft. As the carpet man comes on Monday I just need to box it in, plaster and paint before then. One final coat of estate emulsion will see the walls finished leaving just the upstairs woodwork and floor to do.

I cant wait for it to finish.
