Even as a Jock, I am still to be convinced that Andy Goode is worthy of a place in the England starting line up, and although I agree with bobleponge that he had a decent game in open play, England really need to find themselves a good (or rather, a better) dead ball / penalty kicker.

She was nevous indeed, but she wasn't disappointed - we did better but only just. I will not be cancelling Piglet's Base pass just yet

Sadly, 'we' made a lovely present of penalties and even parcelled it up in pretty paper and passed it to the Welsh. I do think the Ref was refing another game at times because whilst he loved showing 'us' the yellows he appeared to miss the same thing when the Welshie boys did yellow stuff

ah was ever thus with calling the Ref

It wasn't pretty but we got the result we wanted .

Come back and brag when you get past the quarter finals of a world cup.

I still think Wales will win, with Ireland a close second.

Question PW - Do you think Ireland can beat England?

Having Geordan Murphy playing for Leicester, plus his brother Johne, and last year having two others leave and go back to Leinster, I know how the Irish can play.

Yes Ireland can beat England, whether they do is another matter

I'd like to think they will but it won't be a pretty game .I suspect it will be a game much like the one played on Sunday lots of break down of play etc . The Italy v Ireland game showed that even with the rule variations (which supposedly make rugby more spectator frendly)- you can still have a game that while not being a very exciting game to the casual spectator is still good tactical game of rugby.
Not a nice game to watch - but not a poor game by any account.

Just the free range organic ones. Ordinary haggis - plant away at them - I find If you put the top of the haggis about 6 inches down in well drained peat with a small amount of sand works well.
