  • Don't laugh... skirt fell off

I don't normally get embarrassed but even I was a bit rosy rond the gills after my skirt fell down this morning just outside the school gates with loads of parents milling about

I have gone to the shop and bought one in the right size now - so that won't be happening again

Hee hee. Don't think you ought to hang around the weight loss thread anymore!

I once got out of a cab in a slightly flared skirt. A bit of skirt blew into taxi door as I slammed it, and the cab pulled away... thank goodness I only had to run inside the house...

The funniest thing was the look on my 4 year old's face and then when he said 'mummy what ARE you doing?'
He went through a phase of taking his trousers off and showing his bits to all and sundry a while ago so maybe he thought I was doing the same thing!

What are we gonna do with you?

I mainly avoid mishaps by never wearing skirts - I've never had training on them and just don't understand them.

I only wear it on a thursday - it's the 'lightest' thing I own (having weighed all my clothes) and I go to slimming class. I never wear jeans on a thursday lol.

Skirt is now in charity bag.

My idea of HELL is having to wear a dress to a ball...just to go to a ball - NO NO NO.

Luckily, my OH is just as unsociable as I am...

there is no choice sadly - it's a Ball Gown or your hubby is shot at dawn! However, the Balls are such cracking fun that it is well worth it - I stopped buying them tho, I only rent now, makes ya look like you have tons of them

Oh and just don't peek under mind cos you are likely to find Doc Martens and fluffy socks

Har har!! Why is it when someone tells you not to do something, it Is always what you do? Good excuse to buy a new one though.

I just feel for your poor, traumatised child.....he could need years of therapy...

Wish mine would fall off. Trouble with mine is doing up the zip.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

Not with skirts you understand (honest) but it is one of the reasons I love braces, no chance of my trousers slipping down (not a good sight) and I hate seeing blokes with belts tugged in so tight they look like a Christmas cracker.
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.
