I wondered why I was poorly today. I woke up in the night with the most awful tummy pains I can remember since giving birth! It's taken till now to ease off a bit, but now I know it's Friday 13th I'll stick with it ....................................... till tomorrow

I was thinking the same Zazen, I mean, how's the poor thing going to get anything to eat??
That piccy isnt Ze German, although he isnt too dissimilar in all honesty.
Its some lizardy type thing that often jumps at the window to catch the flies and bugs that sit there. Caused me to be a touch scared the first time it leapt up.
Carp photo but have been sat here with the camera for ages, and only got its foot, as you can see.

Good grief M. lePonge, that gave me a bit of a turn until you told us what it was . Glad I don't have them jumping up at the window!

I'm not at all supersticious (sp?), so never worry about Friday 13th - now I know why, it's because I'm not a Knights Templer from the 11th century...

Blimy I nearly jumped out of my skin then! The pot with my BEAUTIFUL amarylis has just fallen off the dresser. Yikes. Dirt and broken pot all over the floor.

            Friday 13th strikes again.

I'm gonna save that photo for my next 'A monster ate my homework' excuse...around about mid march when my tutor starts getting twitchy.

It's only a day for goodness sake! The calendar only has the meaning we ascribe to it. It's all arbitrary.

I can't be having with it!

                      Friday 13th!!!!!!!

Well have you all survived friday 13th up til now then?

Took a day off my annual leave to progress with my shed. Only knocked two bits of bark off with the hammer. Shed's starting to take shape and I'm quite pleased with progress!

Friday 13th must be lucky for me as I usually finish up with major hammer rash and a shed resembling the leaning tower of Pisa after a project like this!

It is only 20 past four so there's time yet I suppose....................

OH had the day off to go to the races, but it was called off due to a frozen course.

So, we drove into the city to do some chores, and saw quite a few crashes, more than usual. Unlucky for some, indeed.

Started the day by having words with the stepson, lately all that boy has to do is breathe the wrong way and I'm jumping down his throat!! Really must chill out a bit.

Fed chickens, went for a quiet walk on my own, came home to find my free bulbs from Parkers had come as well as prospectus from Anglia Ruskin Uni. Had a successful try out of a new recipe. Not one of my best days, but not bad over-all.
