I am always tired even when I've had 8 hours sleep. I don't snore (can't as not got tonsils) but HATE when I have to get out of bed. It ruins my whole day. And I am usually asleep within minutes.
I've had allsorts of tests over the years and think a lot of it is seasonal. I feel a bit less tired in the summer months. OH says I am not normal but I've always been the same.

You're not the only one PW.

A great reason to emigrate maybe? Somewhere lighter and brighter?

Night peeps, catch you over the weekend.

Human beings evolved to be active by daylight and sleep when it gets dark. In winter it is dark for longer, therefore it is right and proper to sleep longer hours in winter time.
We also need a certain number of hours which are neither work nor sleep. Therefore working-hours should be reduced in winter time.
                Well it's worth a try anyway<g>
In fact it mostly does work for us, because the most important part of our day's work cannot be done other than by daylight.......

I'm kn*ckered most of the time! Even my GP reckoned I had SAD. (mind you I reckon that's because he didn't want to spend any money investigating why!) When I retire (2 years and counting!) I'm sure it won't be a problem!

Twinkle Toes's Mum and Dad gave me four Alternative Therapy Sessions with a fab lady nearby for my Christmas Present.
When I phoned her to book my first session, I said that I was feeling kind of tired and tearful all the time? and she asked if I was sleeping 'enough'.

Between the two of us, I think we agreed that 'Round The Clock' was indeed perfectly enough sleep, which is why she said I should go to the chemist and get some Cod Liver Oil Tablets, as the Vitamin D, and stuff, would certainly benefit me, and do me no harm whatsoever. Luckily, the capsules were half price, so I feel twice as good for next to nothing!

Over the years, I've come to recognise that I'm a Sunshine Girl, and then come Autumn-through-Winter, with the darker days, I become 'Hammy The Hampster' during the day, and sometimes come out for a bit of a dash round the hammie wheel at night!

So maybe get yourself some of those too Piggie?
                        Hope you feel better soon.

Wow, tantalisingly unavailable though Seahorse, as nice as they would be.

I dont think the winter helps but I have never been like this before. I take cod liver oil and glucossomethingorother joint care tablets so I dont fully crock my knees playing rugby or working.

I have been bnown to snore but seem to sleep ok.

I take glucosamine, multi vitamin and CLO each day. Didn't realise CLO was mainly for vitamin 'D' though!! I thought it was for lubrication purposes!
