OH called the hospital this morning, they said FiL has had a good night, and his speech has improved
About 10 mins later I had a call asking if I'd take a cancellation appt for my ankle op - this Thursday afternoon!! So I've accepted it, the sooner the better.

After that, we both fell asleep again and didn't wake up til after 12:00!!
Feeling loads better for the extra sleep though, I was so exhausted last night I could barely get up the stairs!

Thank you for all your good wishes and prayers, really made me feel supported yesterday
