Cheers all. My sis bought me a 'Food for Free' Collins Gem pocket book. Nothing, but NOTHING is safe any more... I've already sussed out the Fat hen in my garden! lol

I got some money too so that I can buy some tools for the lottie (I hear the gasps of shock ), and with what's left I think I'm going to buy some lighting for the back garden

My OH and Little Boy are going to buy me some Flowers for the back garden when I finally decide what I want

Belated wishes Shortie. One year, I asked for a bin and tap thing for my birthday so that I could have some noxious smelling brew in there. The bin is currently being used as a bin down the allotment! Oh well, still got the tap thing.

Ooo - I need some new secateurs. As soon as you get them, write your name or postcode on them with a security pen. Garden burglary seems to be on the increase - a broadsheet (might be tabloid sized) newspaper had an article about this and even plants aren't safe.

Certainly got some food in the front lawn, what with all those dandelions. Maybe I should blanch them (cover with pot). How about ground elder in an omelette (mentioned a while back on Gardeners Question Time)?
