Lavender Lou had posted about this a while back, but a couple of us wanted to publicise it and arrange a Grape meet if possible.

I'm up for a coffee somewhere - and I can bring some seeds for the seed swap even though I don't need any spuds.

Not exactly gonna be a crush is it, but I'm still interested to go so is there a particular time/place when Grapes are intending to meet up (a local kaff?) or do we need to carry a copy of GYO and a bouquet of carrots (and if so which variety, Chantonay Rare? ) For seed swap purposes I can bring some spare seedlings (if they survive the journey) and an introduction to BNI (Bazza's Naff Invention) for foolproof successional sowing.... b.

The vine's gonna be off from 4 tonight until 6 tomorrow night...so unless someone comes up with a location and time [I'd suggest 12ish] then we're gonna miss it.

I'm not very familiar with Chesterfield but Google shows a multi-storey car park at Saltergate (S40 1UJ if you have Sat-Nav), just a 2 min walk from New Square. 12 noon should be OK for me, perhaps LL could suggest a kaff or landmark? b.

I'll confirm later...I'm waiting in for the police today, as well as last night [they were due sometime after 4], so if they don't turn up today I might have to spend another day in waiting...ho humm.

there is a car park at vicar lane too and also near the new tesco too.

new square is after a great big building called the Market hall and the other side there is a chemist called Dents, to be honest i don't think there is a cafe but there is a pub called the Portland Hotel which is a wetherspoons pub which is also in new sqaure.

Unfortunately, the police didn't show here yesterday and I have to stay within 10 mins from home until they call, so unless they visit before 10am I can't see us getting to the meet.

As they have kept you waiting I thought you could tell them you have prearranged something for today. My sister phoned them to explain when she couldnt stay in anymore and they said that was ok, and arranged to call again, I think she ended up waiting days.

It's us that have made the complaint and I want them round asap...we've already been waiting since Wednesday - they were due friday so we stayed in all friday - they then said yesterday so I stayed in all day and I want to get the wheels rolling to try and get our money back!
