If I remember rightly (I don't always!) the wild gojiberry is called The Duke of Argyle's Tea Plant. It grows wild - but scarcely - near here, and the berries do look a bit nightshade-ish - but the leaves are totally different. However, I have such a dislike of gojiberries that the rare wild ones are safe from me!

I really enjoyed it, too. That chicken soup looks like it'll blow yer 'ead off! Just up my street, lol!.

I think most of us would be restricted to buying gojiberries anyway, as they only grow on the South Coast, or so he said. It did make me want to pick up my Herbal Drugs...book again. I'm already eyeing up my lemon balm, as that is remarkable for its sedative and anti-spasmodic properties. GROW dammit! lol!

I quite enjoyed it, although the presenter managed to annoy Mr OWG right from the start!!

I'm not sure that up on the north lancashire coast I'd be able to grow figs and kiwi's though!

I did like the soup recipe (without the goji berries!) might try and find the recipe for it!

My discovery - Goji berry and chicken soup for colds and flu
This looks pretty much like what he did last night, but I don't think he included echinacea.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

I liked the look of the soup, but how much garlic - and almost raw too! Might not clear yer head, but it'd clear a room, no doubt!

The hop and lavender pillow sounds quite appealing and will make a change from falling asleep next to a half consumed can of lager, (but with some of the same familiar aromas).

You need to try some proper ale for hop aromas.

OH was hoping I wouldn't notice it as he was checking the program listings, and frowned when I said I'd read about it on here. So I made him watch it (cow lol) anyway, I enjoyed it and will watch it again. OH not convinced (tough)

Already have lavender seed to grow and a fig tree on order, was toying with the idea of growing hops along the fence so i think i will go for it now.
