  • Anyone else...?

Anyone else check on their freshly sow / freshly germinated seedlings about fifty times a day?!!? I checked them at least fifteen times this morning before work.. and had a good stare for at least ten minutes while I ate my cereal (standing up, so I could see better).

If only I could apply to my work the effort I spend on these little tiny wonders (as you can guess.. I'm clearly not apply myself one bit at the moment!).

Another one here! I look at them, turn them round, count them. I always feel I've been restrained and only sown 4 toms in the pot then I look and find 6 seedlings - the ones I put in 'for good luck' or 'just in case' - you'd think I'd know better by now!

Me too. We had the man round the other day to change the elec meter...and I was having a mental breakdown at the time and as I had no electricity for a half an hour or so I just stood and started at the seedling tray trying to calm down.

It was 10 mins though before I realised that 2 cayennes had popped their heads through.

I must have been really really angry to not even notice for so long.

I keep looking at my newly sprouted beans...they're so lovely when they are so little.

I clearly need to get out more - I used to spend my days ogling young male students and now they just pass me by.

Wait till teenage boys catch you muttering at your seeds to encourge them. Then you will know the meaning of silly

Everytime I walk through the dinning room (every five minutes) I have to check them on the windowsill. I can`t belive how fast they have germinated. The only problem now is I want to get them in the garden and it`s not time yet.

I'm a seed voyeur too! It's like I'm willing them to pop their heads up. Then I get so excited when they do, I have to tell everyone and they look at me as if I've gone totally insane (maybe I have) The lid gets lifted off the propagator at least half a dozen times a day and I'm sure that's not helping germination. I think I might join seed sighting anonymous!!
