    £200 ?????
my brand new shed cost less than that delivered & errected, what a plonker

dont let it spoil your lottie once its gone you can forget all about him, but i'd get your site secretary to tell him hes got to remove it by a certain date or it could be months before he does

Yeah, I agree, too busy indeed! I bet if you offered him the money, he wouldn't have been too busy to collect. Give him a deadline of 2 weeks or else trouble may befall his beloved shed.

Rhona, its such a shame you have come up against some one as nasty and stupid as this bloke so early in your allotment experience. I agree with the others, he has messed you about something rotten and £200 for a secondhand homemade shed is ridiculous, why my next door neighbour who always seems to buy everything new only paid £180 for a new 10' x 8' shed last month and it looks very smart.
No tell him to move it or else, and perhaps get the secretary to tell him as well. You can do without all this hassle and I am afraid I would have told him to go forth etc. You must not let this drag on now or it will blight your enjoyment every time you go up there.

        GOOD LUCK

I think he his taking the mick a little, I just paid for my shed to the previous occupant who clearly understood that not to be too cheeky and the hastle it would be for him to move it.

I asked how much - £20, great - 6*4 B&Q style lap shed, a set of shelves, ready made tool hanging, 2 water butts with drainpipes all in place and a wheel barrow !

          WINNER

Have you checked whether he is actually entitled to remove it after so long? It really isn't on! If you buy a house, and the carpets have been left, the previous owner lost the right to charge you, OR to remove them as soon as the keys were handed over. I don't see why this should be any different. Tell him "48 hours or it burns", if you are feeling generous, otherwise just arrange a small accident!

Hey- i want first dibs on your plot! I've had mine for 3 years and it's nowhere near that good!

I'm really trying not to let this take the shine off the new allotment, but it would have been so much nicer to have dealt with someone, well, nicer!

                Thanks for asking though.
                Hi Rhona

If you need a new shed then you cant go far wrong with this company, I just got the 8x6 tongue and groove and the quality is great.
The delivery is included in the price and they delivered to my allotment an called my mobile when they were getting near to drop off.

So..hopefully it'll be gone by this weekend!

You know..I'd be tempted to get a cheap shed and put it up next to his- then when he leaves it for free you'll have 2 sheds- they do come in handy ya know!!!
