Debate is good, providing its polite of course, do any of you get involved in those long winded Sunday afternoon in the pub debates over "what is the answer to the world, the universe and everything"

Yes, I quite enjoy a good debate as long as both parties are willing to change their viewpoint. If one person has unchangeable beliefs then there is little point in discussion and it usually ends in being quite heated and ultimately achieves nothing.

Um.... 1) Pub? Sunday afternoon? Only if the washing fairies came in to get all the uniform ready Maybe in a few years time
2) I don't mind a good discussion, when friends visit and we stay up too late setting the world right. BUT, when people start to get a bit stroppy, I get quite distressed, and there are certain people I won't have in my house anymore because theirs is the only opinion that matters. I grew up with that sort of atmosphere, and it really upsets me now!
