  • What can I do one handed

I am bored, so far today I have managed to hang out the washing, sowed some spring onion seeds, walked to the post office in town and got my car tax, got my lunch, going to empty the dishwasher, then what ???? I need to keep busy as I hate not doing anything.
The number of times I have wished for nothing to do.

Oh Jackie, big hug hon, it's so boring isn't it?
Can you read? I know turning the page might be a pain, but it's mostly one handed. The new GYO and lots of other mags will be out in the next day or 2.

You could visit Wayne's Zen Garden and listen to the sound of one hand clapping!

Clean some windows...although the second hand does come in handy when the first one gets tired!
Learn how to juggle one handed...I finally learnt how to juggle with 2 balls & Andi says the next step is to juggle them in one hand before moving onto three.

Trying to work out how to edit that to sound more family forum apprpriate!!!

I normally do most things one handed as generally got a toddlie clinging to me! he is going through a mummy's boy phase. Hope that doesn't last as my arm muscles are getting a bit uneven now! And he's about 25 pounds.

I can juggle three balls with two hands, or two with one hand When i helped out a the local boys brigade, we did a circus skills thing for their annual display, boys were very impressed I could juggle, taught two of the boys for the display, both very determined to learn and did a grand job on the night!!

Watching DVDs is one-handed (remote control, ha ha!). I like Flum's idea of the visiting the Zen garden, though! Or walk to the local park and feed the quackers!

Oh, poor you - having nothing to do is all very well, unless it's enforced, like yours. Chin up, just think of all the jobs that you won't be able to do . What about writing some letters to folk you've been meaning to catch up with - in these days of t'internet, there is something even more special about getting a hand written letter. (Eek, just realised that only having sketchily read your thread, it may be the hand you write with that is out of action - if so, I'm really sorry for putting my big foot in it )

Thought of something - eating chocolate only takes one hand ....
Life is brief and very fragile, do that which makes you happy.

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

You've managed to do more than I do with both hands! Only joking! Reckon you ought to try and make the most of your sick leave. Hope your wrist is feeling better soon.
