Got to auctiva.com to list through ebay, you can save money and post lots of pic without being charged extortionate amounts of money. Sign up to ebay fist then auctiva.com, easy to do.

I have been selling for the past year and have made a small profit, check out my shop in my signature.

Good luck and if you need any help, PM me :-)

OK - all done. It's taken me till now, take photos, register for ebay, register for paypal etc - I need a lie down. Then ebay says they might not appear for a while - I want to see them NOW!

Again thanks peeps, now I have tried ebay I will put something else on the alternative site and have an auction competition - whoever wins, or is most painless gets the clearout.

shirl, they're not visible yet - apparently it may take up to a day for them to appear

Once they're up I'll post a link, if I'm allowed to by the mods, if not I'll pm.

Don't worry about the scare stories - I have bought and sold on Ebay for 6 years now, I have 800 positive feedbacks and no negs, I have never had to leave negative for anyone.

Go for it - it's fun and quite lucrative if you play it right.

My OH buys coins on Ebay and he always waits till the end so hopefully no one else has time to put in a higher bid. 99% of the time he wins the item. Tried to sell some bits but didnt get very far. I need to learn how to do it as I have a lot to sell and have got fed up with car boot, will do some more so I can sell some plants as well.

Having a dim moment here, if you want to time your auctions to end 7.30ish, do you have to start/post them at the same time, and when does the times start from, since it takes up to a day for the item to appear on the site?

Thank you for your very concise answer I'll just have to hold me horses until the evening. OH also suggested ending on a Sunday, but we're all out digging on a Sunday - I would have thought for girly things it might be good for it to end on a Saturday pm, after kick-off - or is that being sexist lol!

I bought a replacement pair yesterday, same height but a thicker heel, and they were a size 5, I've always been a 6 / 6.5.

So whether the chaos that is the British clothing industry sizing is now entering the shoe trade

In the charity shop last week we had a size 10 skirt that was 2" wider than a size 12 in another make.
