That was pretty diplomatic Nick! Have you come out from behind the sofa yet?

Unfortunately I don't fit into your stereotype - I don't flit (choreographer in the drama group has a terrible time with me), hate soap operas (well except the Archers), no idea if I brighten the place up (no one has ever told me) and I certainly would not qualify in the beauty stakes (garden wellies, anorak and hair stuffed into a woolly hat most of the time!)

(Thinks: Wonder if I could be technical ?????????)

The Archers doesn't count as I listen to that In my previous job I did a lot of fault finding on electronics & I had either Radio 4 or one of my many talking books on all the while to blot out the noise.

There's a Friday the Thirteenth happening this week. Had sneak in the Radio Times (just for the radio that is) - Friday isn't a happy day in Ambridge, oh noooooo.
I started to listen about the time Tom trashed Brian's (was it the Estate's?) GM crop. Got arrested after winning the single-wicket.

Trains ???? What are they ???

I must stop referring to my jackets as anoraks. I come from the era when an anorak WAS an anorak (ie jacket). My kids are always picking me up on it. Also when I ask them to switch on the wireless ......... I'm sure I'm not the only one. Please say I'm not !
