does anyone know of the best way to find out if a company is no longer trading, have tried all the trading standards no's for our area, but they pass you around the houses then gabble a 0845no at you, grrrrr, have googled and nothing direct for the leicester area,i am loathed to dial 0845no's as you not know how long they keep you on the line, and as we have a virgin package, will work out a big bill
,have had problems with some heating engineeres, finally ageed to do something, came 3 weeks ago,put a bigger rad in at their cost,we agreed to pay for a wireless room stat, the rad fitter left it with us and said the electrician will be along to remove the old one{only 2 years old,had been put in the wrong place opposit a rad in the hall, and their fault}and sort us out with the new one, also change the programer,to a simpler idiot prove one,we paid the engineer the £75 for the stat as was requested, and that was that,we have rung several times but the phone lines are all dead, including the freehphone no,and the check has been cashed in
,i just thought,if there was anyway of finding out if they gone to the wall,it's just 1 small thing to sort,i just want to bang my head on the wall, had enough the laste few months, but all i will end up with,is big lump on me head, sorry for the rant, but am very stressed.
