It should be a good show if it is all from scratch. I am looking forward to it coming on and see the potato features. Fresh start for everyone on there I hope.
Cheers piskieinboots.

I never asked about the other veg I just asumed they would be doing a more grow your own kind of programme with top tips from the experts. The thing is that it is probably the basics that people need to learn. It is like being qualified to use Sage accounts programme but not being able to turn a computer on if that makes sense.
More disappointments occur due to the basics being wrong I have found after talking to many people.

I liked the last series with Toby, much better than the ones with Monty (which caused me to stop watching) but still prefer Alan or Geoff really. Looking forward to more GYO stuff as it's so much more applicable to what a lot of people are doing now, not just on here if you believe the info about seeds sales (although obviously seed sales don't necessarily turn into plant growth but at least it does mean people are interested)
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Presenters are very conjective, like marmite really you love or loathe them. Monty was a bit pretentious and preached the whole organic, peat free way of doing things but unless you have the resource, time and space to make "berryfields no 2" compost its always a struggle.
Toby is new to it, a successful gardener in his own right and seems a bit more pragmatic and all encompasing to me.
Geof Hamilton will always be the daddy for me.

I like Carol Klein, Toby and Alys and I'm looking forward to the new series.
I liked Alan Titchmarsh until he got involved in that rubbish makeover stuff with Charlies Wobbling and Tommy Lardarse. If a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing to excess
