it's all about the cannibal who can row staying in the boat pretty much all the time<g> (I refuse to go into details)

2 cannibals into the boat, 1 of whom can row, ferry the first cannibal over and then he comes back for one of the explorers, leaving 2 explorers and a cannibal behind, ferrys the explorer over and returns for 2nd explorer, leaving 1 cannibal and one explorer behind, ferrys explorer over making 2 explorers and 1 cannibal on the other side, comes back for last explorer and ferrys him over, then returns for the last cannibal.

Either that or the cannibals eat the explorers, keeping them safe in their tummys and then cross?

I had this
1. Explorer and a Cannibal that can't row cross the river on the boat
2. The Explorer returns and the rowing Cannibal gets in.
3. Then the Explorer gets out and the Cannibal that can row gets an Explorer that then goes out.
4. Rowing Cannibal gets another Cannibal who then gets out.
5. Rowing Cannibal goes back to get the last explorer and they both get out.

Yours seems to work too though
