I've had a lovely day too. My materials for the hen-run arrived (correctly the second time!) Did some sewing this morning, and potted on a few seedlings. Went to T'ai Chi this aft, then to a meeting. Some of the village ladies are proposing to hold a lunch club (only every 2 months till we see how it goes) in the village hall. I've got a basic Food Hygiene cert and love cooking so I went along. We did some preliminary planning. Looks like it might go ahead - another meeting soon.

I had a great half day

I spent the morning turning over the first bed on my new, second hand lottie plot - spreading muck, sun was blazin. Flask was at the ready and a bag of mini eggs.

Think I shall put my onions in there when they arrive.

And now I am at work

It's been glorious here too....after a bit of aslow start I got up to the lottie late morning.Lots of digging in manure, took a half hour out of digging to pop in my first earlies...filled a row &1/2 so completed the row with some leeks & radish. Then a bit more digging, making me almost late to pick up the kiddies. Then Andi got home just after 4:00~as he didn't fancy his usual hour at the lottie after work,I went back instead...leaving him in charge of tea...& what a fine job he made!
So yep...pretty good day here too!!!
