Well picture the scene. I've just been down the garden in my dressing gown and an anorak and my hubbies size 10 shoes!!! Hope nobody was looking. Fleece is just about hanging on but I've got plastic pots and containers everywhere and my metal wheelbarrow has some how ended up 3 metres away in the flower bed. I can see I'm gonna have loads of tidying up to do tomorrow!
PMSL @ U CAN picture it lol...........hope the wind didnt blow anywhere it shouldnt have!
Kittens just came in first time they have seen rain like this....they have just recovered from the snow.
they look like mongoose's
oh so cute
mine are still not allowed out yet, awaiting last of their injections - they have been sat in the windowsill all evening trying to catch the raindrops .....awwww
From sunshine yesterday to a tornado tonight. Jeez - My mini greenhouse was in my neighbours garden and all my pots were blown everywhere.
WORSE THING?? Hubby bought me 6 beautiful solar lights on stakes for the garden. THREE have been broken by debris hitting them and knocking them off their spike. I have until Friday to fix them!! EEK!!
Serene she stand amid the flowers,
And only count lifes sunny hours,
For her dull days do not exist,
Evermore the optimist
Not looking forward to going to the allotments at the weekend. I spent last Fri-Sun building the greenhouse I was given. I was 3 pieces of glass short of finishing it.
So I suspect that the gusts of wind will have done damage as it was not weathertight.
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.
