Really windy here, just come back from my italian class and had to fight the car! The rain was coming down horizontally too it seemed.

Hopefully the garden will survive intact but haven't fleeced anything.... not going out there now either.

Blowing a gale and bucketing down here. Just had a very hairy drive home from Guildford in my mates new sports car. Not sure if I had fun or not,

No rain or wind here (it did rain today) but a clear sky and an icy cold night. Car windscreen was totally iced up when I was coming in tonight at about 10 o'clock.

it will be interesting to see if anything useful has blown into my allotment to make up for all the stuff thats blown out!
above the clouds the sun is shining and the sky is blue. if you look hard enough you can just about see it!

Nooooooooooo not more snow!! Beautiful morning here but cold. The garden has taken a real battering after last nights weather. Fortunately the mini greenhouses stood the test but everything else is all over the place! Major tidying up job for today and cold night forecast!

So I suspect that the gusts of wind will have done damage as it was not weathertight.
Hows your greenhouse? I hope it stood up to the winds!

After a calm but cold day yesterday it really blew a hooley last night - lashing rain, high winds. However, I haven't got anything out that isn't well anchored (this is not a bra advert!) so no harm done here. It's calm this morning. Strange eh?

Well, it's calm and bright here this morning, OH is checking the lotties while he's out with the dawg. The front garden seems to have collected half the village's rubbish somehow, but no damage to anything

For once, my garden seemed to survive a storm. Putting the greenhouse in the darker, but more sheltered spot seems to have worked. The bird table blew over, as did a garden chair, but otherwise, everything was where it should be this morning.

Be wary those of you just weighing them down - I did that last year and the wind vibrated the frame and broke it that way. The broken poles then tore the PVC to shreds.

I'm more concerned about my poor pony. The fatter one is shut in the field with only natural shelter. I did tuck his hay and food into a sheltered corner, but I'm expecting a grumpy boy tonight!!! I couldn't let him into the field with a shelter, as my old and skinny shetland is there, trying to put on weight. Still makes me feel awful, though!!

Good point Sluglobber about the weighting down, hadn't thought of that!
                                Hope you're pony's okay?

I have retrieved my fleece covering from next doors hedge (so much for the steel pegs I put in!). Gathered up all sorts of rubbish and what looks like half of my collection of plastic pots. The trellis is going to have to be taken down completely and fixed, somehow. The wheelbarrow looks a bit kinked where it hit a wall but I think it's still useable.
