WHY do you not know how to open your bonnet you silly lass?
For a laugh go to your Ford Dealer and try to open the bonnet on a transit.

The release is behind the Ford Badge...yep it slides up and you use the key to unlok it.

I had one on lease and as there was no manuel in the glovebox we had to drive it to the dealers to find out how to do it. Oh the shame of it.

I'll bet they had a chuckle about it as much as we have done!

Ah, as an ex MG owner (Midget, then GT, then B for many years), I know lots of parts of car engine that many men no doubt are clueless about. At five months preggers with my twins I could be found under the car (well, the bit of me that could fit, i.e. shoulders upwards!), clad in oily overalls, reaching parts that my hands could reach better than OH's! I could wield a spanner with the best of 'em. Good job too, as spanner wielding is certainly something that seems to go with owning MG's ...
Life is brief and very fragile, do that which makes you happy.

yup, thats why they invented the aa/rac and mobile phones

i was once working in a van delivering and prior to setting off the van had a puncture ...... a big hefty bloke changed the wheel, while i looked on admiringly, and i set off from the depot .... 5 miles later while going round a roundabout the wheel decided to fly off down the A59 and i was very close to the van turning over ... there wasn't much left of the back end of it..... i have never changed a wheel and after that ... never will
