Still drizzling now, so the lovely dry laundry that I was too lazy to get in off the line at lunch time is now wetter than when I put it out
Two minutes after I posted this we had a hail storm, and high winds for half an hour (upset Chooks again ), then the broadband connection went bang, so I had to do something constructive lol!

We were woken up twice in the night, thought it was frozen peas being hurled at the window, turns out it was heavy rain...but the high winds were the take away curry last night. Ahem.!

Nothing like others are reporting but, a little rain, and a bit windy.
Maybe we will get it later when it moves over to us.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I took the dog to the allotments and it was really nice out.

The wind started to pick up and I should have known what was coming but no I wanted to get the soft fruit mulched and play with Milo to give him some exercise.

And then it hit, dived into the shed and even that was rocking, could hardly see outside with the rain almost horizontal.

We waited for the wind to drop before making a dash for it. Only got halfway up the hill when it hit again. The rain was so cold and driven by the wind that it was stinging my eyes.

Absolutely soaked through by the time we got to the car.

              Drove home literally dripping.

Got home, towelled off the dog and then OH said well as you're already wet, can you get all the plants in from the mini greenhouses. Up and down the garden, 23 trays.

Came back in. the rain stopped and the sun came out again.
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

I went up the lottie at 8.30am Sunday morning as it was glorious sunshine and was in my shirt sleeves digging over my spud bed, then about 11.00 it started to cloud over. Mr Miffy and me left the plot at 11.30 and we had just walked in the door when the heavens opened and we had the most horrendous storm, thunder, lightening and rain and hail stones. Then the wind started, bizarre weather.

Had glorious sunshine yesterday morning, but after lunch it was horrendous! Hail, wind, sleet...

...Patted myself on the back for riding out in the morning, as there's no way I'd have gone in that horrible weather!!
