Garden snob!!

One of the things I am not fond of is pink sedum, neighbour has it and it grows through the fence and self seeds all over the place. Found out last year that she didn't really like it either so it got sprayed with weed killer. Apart from that, pampas grass and russian vine don't have anyother dislikes.

I`m not a fan of anything with petals.
Any huge flowering plants aren`t welcome in my garden. When the petals drop off they make a mess. I have enough to clean up in the garden with out that.

OOooo i love my pampas grasses i have them in my front and back garden, they can look tatty sometimes, but i just cut off the dead leaves

Mesambrimummy thingies...can never remember the real name- open in the sun and close at night- looks like a colorful plastic giant daisy.
Bought a job lot of about 12 trays and a ridiculously low price a few years back-for about £10. Couldn't give them away so my garden looked like a Barbie and Ken summer party location!

No dislikes here - I'll grow anything that can survive!
We're high up and suffer alot with the cold and winds. Mostly I grow anything the slugs won't touch!

How could you Redthorn grasses are wonderful,tactile beautiful plants! Just been bought stipa gigantea for my birthday-I've wanted one for ages. Can't wait to see it fully grown and looking lovley and graceful.

lol in africa it was mostly grasses, see them and morning glory's( now now all keep it clean ) as weeds! Each to their own Hope you enjoy your birthday gift.

I used to dislike hydrangeas, but think they can be wonderful now. I get mildly irritated by certain types of geraniums every now and again, but it usually passes.

Mr R hates ivy - it surrounds our present garden, and he got 'got' by it last year. Came up in terrible weals all over and can't go near the stuff now!

Ooh just thought of one - there's a great big bush type thing that grows everywhere around here, with large floppy purple flower heads. It's a horrible big weed that some people alarmingly have in their gardens. Don't know what it's called but I don't like it!

Don't hate anything, wouldn't chose to have some in my garden but quite like a bit of random mess and spralling nature of the some of the plants that some despise and love the fact that pelagoniumns will survive total neglect in the summer. Don't spend long on my flowering bit of the garden as the veg takes priority so easy stuff is good.

That's the one! Now if it did it's job and attracted butterflies then I'd love it! Doesn't seem to be the case though. Attracts dogs as far as I can tell!
