The first time i drove on the road legaly was when i was 17 in the middle of Birmingham at 5 oclock at night .
I had gone with the regular driver to give him a hand to unload a load of Cabbage one afternoon in the wholesale market because it was afternoon no porter's in the market so muggins went and as we came out of the market down the bullring he said your driving home.. right in at the deep end first time on the road no warning what so ever and have been driving ever since i do not think it would work now but it did in them day's....jacob

I took lessons on and off until I was 28 (we always seemed to run out of money before I was 'ready' to take the test ) then my test came through when I was VERY pregnant. I failed, and it took another 2 years before I could afford to do it again. I failed that one, but passed 4 weeks later, despite having taken 15 minutes to get out of the car park at the test centre because of the Christmas traffic. He complimented me on not getting flustered by it, and being patient .
When it's time, you will pass, and I'm sure by what you've said after your lesson, you have found the right instructor which is more than half the battle. Good luck.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
