Over on my plot on Saturday....
Had some kindly given and healed in raspberry canes that I needed to move.
I decided to pot them into some large pots of peat free compost, that were in front my shed- left over from last year and growing small weeds.
With trowel in had I had dug down 7 or so inches and came upon something big and white'ish, jumped back - what the heck?????
carried on digging and dug up a .........
Hot Cross Bun!
This is all true but oh so random!
Can only think it was a fox that buried it a long while back - the pot had small weeds growing on it's surface, so had been undisturbed for quite a time.
The bun was whole and looked.......good!
smelt of perfectly fresh Hot Cross Bun!
even had perfect sultanas in it! surface of bun was a little colourful with various moulds.
How very odd ! how very random!!
