Never been (a bit off my patch ). We have been to a Land Rover Show at the same showground, and I have to say the Malvern area is well worth a visit. We took the caravan and stayed for a long weekend - it wasn't long enough!
Incidentally, there was a fabulous wine shop in the nearest town - also well worth a visit .

That would be Ledbury, a lovely Black and White town, also a great butchers, was on British camp not so long ago, granny overtook me on the steep bit (its all steep ) British Camp - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Now you see - that is the problem with the showground, it is quite a walk from town! There is a hotel at the bottom of British Camp The Malvern Hills Hotel - Welcome which has a good reputation for it's Sunday lunches and it is in a good position for walking on the hills etc.
There are also places in Malvern itself - I'll get a list together.
A bit further afield and I'd recommend trying somewhere in Ledbury or Upton-upon-Severn (unless we have floods again). The Talbot at Knightwick is a good distance away but the food is excellent (local/grown on the premises or foraged nearby) and they have their own brewery...
Oh heck - just twigged that its THURSDAY. That means I miss out on my regular 'harassed-mums-coffee-morning-with-added-cake'. Bummer. There'd better be cake at the showground
