Probably wine....followed by a Gin!!!
and if food was really needed,Andi would make some onion bhajis for starters, then a big pot of veggie curry & a smaller pot of extra spicey meat curry & rice & naans.
Would be plenty full enough from that to not need a pudding, but would probably take the opportunity of having guests to buy a huge selection of stinky cheeses for once the munchies set in later!(Andi is allergic...apparently...I think he just dislikes it!!!)the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

and if you were going to HW/LW/BW's for Sunday lunch - on a motorbike - how would you get flowers there?
I say to SD 'ooh it's a lovely day on Sunday' - SD says 'goodo, we'll go on the bike' - I says 'and just how would I take flowers to LW' - SD says 'take a picture and hand her the stalks and the photo'aka

No, I didn't have much to start with, and I'm still learning the ways of storage. I only have some frozen parsnip soup in the freezer, but it's not one I'd serve guests - more a good honest no-frills filler.A simple dude trying to grow veg. http://haywayne.blogspot.com/
