          Sasrah, only just got on this thread as I couldn't see never mind surf last night. I really hope you feel better soon, what a horrible thing to happen.

          Lots of hugs coming to you. Can send you some earplugs if you like. I offer them all to my patients whenever they can't sleep cos its often the noise keeping them up.

                      May be allowed home today, although had to resort to Oramorph in the night as the local anaesthetic wore off
                      So as long as they can control the pain and i can show that i can use crutches (3 months practice ought to be enough!) they'll let me home today,

                              Doctor's just been round, got to stay another night to make sure no swelling in cast
                              Hey ho, they have better pain killers here i suppose. Plus, i don't get so frustrated at being useless here as i do at home!
