  • Havannah Lane Allotments

    Hi All

Just inquiring about any forum members who may have plots on the Havannah Lane Allotment site in St Helens.

Looking to get together to see how we can improve the site so we can all benefit from what grants / options are available to us.

You can PM me and we'll see if we can get a meeting organised.

    Regards
    Darren

Hi guys, I know this thread is getting on a bit but could you tell me if you are allowed to keep chickens at the Havannah site? I've been looking at the councils waiting lists for allotments and this sites waiting list seems less hopeless than the rest!! Some of the site have over 70 on the waiting list - think i could be dead and buried before it came round to me!!

          Regards

          Chris

            Hi there,

Yes you can keep hens on the site. You have to let the council know & they send a permission letter. I've got some myself.

            Regards,

            Helen.
