It is parked ilegaly parked on wrong side of road no parking light's .
The reason i say this is that it is only private car's that can park on the highway inside 30mph limit only without light's so a case for a good moan at the local Plod on safety ground's i could be wrong but that is how i see it....jacobWhat lies behind us,And what lies before us,Are tiny matters compared to what lies Within us ...

yes it would, i moved here 3 months ago and most nights i have to look out my window at a white van, weekends it is there constantly it arrives friday at 6 and does not move till monday at 9, have phoned the compny and they said they would ask the driver not to park here but he still does and he lives about 200yards away in a flat with his own parking, but he keeps that space clear for his car

park your own car in that space every evening until they get the message. It would drive me mad.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

we have 3 of them parked outside our house from the latvians that are renting the house opposite, god knows how many people actually sleep in the house, council wont/dont help as its private property but its a b****dy nuisance getting in and out of our driveThe love of gardening is a seed once sown never dies ...

Don't really understand why that would be annoying at all, personally I wouldn't care less so long as it didn't block my route out. As already said, we don't own the road anyway.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

We now have resident parking because we live near the town and when we first moved here it was like a rat race in the mornings and again in the evenings, if I took the kids to school in the car, I would get back and no where to park and I even had to pay to park in the car park because of it. Residents parking has stopped that but we still dont have the right to park outside our own front door, it just means we can park in the area assigned to us ( quite a few roads ) there is also parking opposite where anyone can park all day with no restrictions and that is where we get big vans etc parking, and also an area with restricted parking for an hour. We can also buy visitor's passes but only allowed to have 30 days per car ( two allowed per house ). Wardens come round sometimes but not every hour nor everyday. Night times is now the worst time because so many people have cars now.
Best thing you can do is ask them if they would mind not parking outside your house.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
and ends with backache

they park so its difficult to manouver out of the drive, you cant see round them and its a narrow road the emergency services would not be able to get through god forbid if they needed toThe love of gardening is a seed once sown never dies ...

On our estate there is a clause for all the houses that you aren't supposed to bring work vehicles onto the estate, and periodically everyone gets a reminder. However I do wonder what people are supposed to do with them. Our neighbour works for the Highways Agency, and if he's on call brings the 'patrol' van home so he can go straight to any incident. It is parked in his parking space, but he's had warnings about it.
The thing I find more annoying are the people opposite who park half on/off the pavement at the end of their drive. It means sometimes we have to drive on instead of reverse, but then it can be hard to reverse off. Not anything major maybe, but an annoyance. OH mentioned it politely in passing, but we don't think it's worth making it a real issue.I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
