  • finally got the lottie cleared hooray

yep its been cleared i got a very overgrown lottie in august with 4 ft high grass the lottie is 242sq feet.
not all teenagers are lazy i found one who for £35 has stripped the lottie dug it planted 25 of my fruit bushes and built me a really big weed box.
i even got my pc to it he brough the bushes down in the trailer and then yesterday took some wood and did a bit of the fenching that needed doing, mr pc dont normally do gardening, but he may now have caught the bug hahaha
weve been offered a petrol rotorvater to borrow once done can rake any weed roots out smooth the soil and then can plant up, as have my baby in 4 weeks so need to get lottie planted with the march and april stuff.
silly me forgot to take camera to do before and after pictures.
i hadnt been able to do anything before as had bleeding and pregnancy problems, now i can enjoy the lottie thanks to my teenage helper and get it ready for a full growing season.

Is the teenager busy today and if not please can I borrow him? Let's just say there are one or two things on the to-do list that will make sure he doesn't get bored. Starting with shifting about half a ton of earth at the bottom of the garden that comes from the previous owner using it as a dumping ground for the 36 years he lived here.

dont worry havent done any digging, a bit of light raking only, when we borrow the rotavator oh will do that, so far he still has the gardening bug, sorted my seeds in to planting months ready for saturday. the teen is offering his services but only within a local radius as hes at college, but im sure some of the over grown lotties where ours are may decide to use him as any gardening firms around us where wanting £150 which included rotavating, so saved a far bit and means fresh veg this summer, as now done. keep you all updated again soon.

Oh...SUCH a relief!!! Well done you!!

I'm madly trying to cut out a bit of field in which to plant my tatties by next Friday.....problem is that 1) I broke my foot in November- and it starts throbbing after about 3/4 hr
              and 2) I'm appallingly unfit!

OH is out working all daylight hours- and we're out on Sunday.
SO...I know how you must have felt with the clock ticking away!

Looking forward to that wonderful feeling of completion you now have!!!
