Thanks everyone....I had an actual nightmare last night so I hope it's not an omen.

Then again, the builders are back to day so perhaps it is stress about that.

Haven't changed my mind so that's good.

Can't think of anyone I know that would better suit being a future teacher for Hayden. I say good on yer lady, best of luck. Not that you'll need it of course!

              What's civil about engineering anyway?

Making the decision is the first step - and the first step on any road is the hard one! Good luck and I know you will be a brilliant role model for any student.

Good on you girl! Teachers who want to make a difference are the best kind, (also the kind most likely to go nuts )
I am sure you will be wonderful

She's nuts already! So that's half the battle! (I think?)

Congratulations !! you have taken the first very important step towards one of your dreams, that to decide that you want to use your undoubted talent to teach.

                        Well done and good luck

Don't back out of it cause you will make a brilliant teacher. I wouldn't go back to engineering either (I'm a metallurgist), now all I want is work in a garden centre. Sometimes you have to take the long road to get what you want in life.

You need a degree in form filling just working your way through the application process...no wonder I've got a headache.

Thanks for the motivation to keep going...

What a difficult choice to face! I think you'll make a fantastic teacher, you are already and you won't stand any nonsense which is a very necessary quality
Good luck with the application Zaz, they'd be mental not to take you!
