Well, today's the day.
About 10 years ago I decided that Civil Engineering was in essence, not what i wanted to do with my life. I moved, and decided to take advantage of my long empty evenings by doing courses - I started with A level English and Art.
I ended up doing an English [and psychology] degree, with the idea that, if all else in my life failed - I could always go to Goa and teach English for a living.
Well, things didn't get worse, they got better. I got a good job, moved to a role of a lifetime, got promoted, got a better job, was headhunted and became a Director of a small company. Along the way I found a fab Other Half, and a nice house...But I still always wanted to teach.
We've decided tonight that, unless something Big Happens between now and September - I'm going to apply to become a teacher.
OHMYGOSH.
Decision made. Now I can only leave it in the hands of the Uni to turn me down/turf me out.
Please wish me luck.
