Big congrats to Lavender Blue and Roadkill on your news!
I'm happy because the sun is shining today, the birds are singing - and I'm off to play in my greenhouse!

I'm happy today because my cholesterol level is now down to 5.2 (it was 8.4) in spite of eating eggs and proper butter and cheese and forgetting to take my tablet some days (ooooooooops!). The sun didn't shine till this afternoon but I did get some pricking out done so that's a good job jobbed
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

Following on from before, another bonus, whilst rooting round in the shed, I found two large plastic sacks full of seed trays and module thingys! I'm a happy bunny! (small things you know!..................)

Congratulations to everyone, you all are a very clever bunch what with degrees, new jobs, etc.

I am happy because i am now working part-time from home instead of full-time and that gives me lots more time to spend in the garden. I am also contemplating using my spare time to do some sort of horticulture related course. Spring has sprung & the garden has burst into life, i have garlic & onions looking very lively in the veg patch. My plum tree, rhubarb, gooseberries, currants & autumn raspberries are all showing signs of life. Plus i have a greenhouse which has lots of little seedlings in it and lots more seeds to sow.

          Yey!

What a great day it has been... the weather has been fab... everyone on here has been sharing happy news... special congrats to Roadkill, Lavender and the twins.

My raised beds arrived today, even the loss of my okra and all but one aubergine seedlings didn't get me down... just sowed some more and will give them even more attention this time round. Potted on my tomato seedlings and tended to everything else - don't you just love gardening in the spring?!

Nearly as good as harvesting in summer and autumn - more good things to look forward to!

I am happy because my thyroid is, against all the odds, stable.

I am happy because I am alive and here for my two kids; went to a funeral yesterday for a very brave lady who wont get to see her two toddler boys grow up but we gave her a lovely happy send off and that makes me happy.

I am happy cos I managed to plant my gooseberry bushes today. Yes I did wear gloves and no I didnt dig any holes - they are in tubs till next year and no I didnt lift any compost - Mr Dandy filled the tubs up last night!

I am happy cos my home doesnt look as if I havent done hardly anything for weeks - mind you a quick vacum yesterday made it look tons better.

I am happy that I have nearly finished all the wedding stationery for my sisters wedding - only 3 weeks away now!

I am happy that I have very dear, supportive friends here on the vine and that I am MOM this month - that makes me very proud too.

God made rainy days so gardeners could get the housework done
