It's something I quite enjoy Mrs C but I do it in fits and starts and haven't wet my brush (true, true, very true!) for a while!
I have an easel at home and one in my allotment hut with the idea of doing a bit of outdoor painting at the allotment..........just never seem to get the time. I will though, make a concerted effort this year.
And NO you ain't seeing any of my work!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

I have done painting (mostly oils, a bit of watercolour) but nothing of mine is good enough to share. I also do a bit of wood carving when I have the space to make a mess in (not often). Only simple stuff, and again, not fit to show around.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Lovely Mrs C. Thanks for sharing it. I like that style.
I only dabble a bit but I might put something on tomorrow.
Come on the rest of you. You must have something you could share.

I have a degree in art & design (doesn't mean I'm any good though).
I take a lot of macro photos of flowers, with a view to one day painting them up on canvas.
Perhaps I should enroll on a course just to free up some time to get back into it - I do like fiddling with paint and pencils. Sorry these pix are really small:Last edited by Two_Sheds; 20-03-2009, 07:40 AM.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

They're fab two Sheds, lovely. I used to paint (badly), lived in the Art class at school! I absolutely loved clay modelling too - I think I'm a frustrated Sculptor at heart LOL. Line drawing was my first love (which, for someone with no patience always struck me as weird), but sadly life, and other hobbies get in the way, and I haven't picked up a pencil in anger for years!
Keep up the good work! All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment

Blimey! Nice work TS. You really should think about putting aside some time to pursue it properly - you have some talent.
I try to paint every now and again, but I don't think I have any natural flair for it whatsoever. I'm ok at sketching things out but it sort of ends there.I don't roll on Shabbos
