Jilly, a weak immune system can be a symtom of an underactive thyroid. Are you feeling tired as well?
Your doctor can arrange a blood test to check your thyroid.

I usually take the capsules in the morning and at night - they say take 2 capsules, 3 times a day. I just take them when I need them. It is marvellous being able to breathe at night - takes about 10 - 20 minutes to work. Sometimes when it's really congested (TMI - sorry!) I can feel my sinuses crackling as everything starts to loosen.

With all the research I've done on it I haven't found anything about overdoses - the most I've had is a slight grassy taste if I take a bit much.

Oh, and I didn't take it when breastfeeding thinking I should play it safe - only to find out that it's frequently recommended to take to increase milk supply! Much better for baby than a hot curry, I think!!!! (I'm pregnant now, so on my mind a bit!!!)

I swear by Immunace vitamin pills (from Superdrug, supermarkets etc.). I hardly ever get sick now.
