Loved Heligan too - the book about it's discovery is brilliant - but OH got a bit bored wandering around the kitchen garden area (was more keen on the jungle) so had to bribe him with a cream tea.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

My O.H was totally bored most of the time at Eden but he doesn't like gardening & was only interested in the technical aspects of how the domes were built & if you could eat the bananas in the tropical dome!
While we were there they were rebuilding the flooring of the stage outside ready for the ice rink which they put in for winter. They do try & have something going on all year round but you have to pay extra for some activities. They change the planting outside as well with thousands of spring bulbs etc. but don't know what the grounds look like in winter.
Into every life a little rain must fall.

        Hi

We are fairly regular (once at year at least!) visitors to Cornwall and love the Eden Project. We saw it while it was being built and its just gone from strength to strength. Have been at different times of the year too and there's always things to see and enjoy.

We went there at Easter where we gift aided our entrance fee and so received a year's free membership, ie entrance. We're off to Cornwall again at the end of this month, so another visit to Eden is on the cards!

Looking forward to checking out their veggies and seeds now that I have my allotment!!
