Oh, and my weekend - same old, same old.

Have spent the last week turning a waste land at the back of the house (by the terrace, for those in the know ) into something slightly resembling a garden. I am going on a plant group walk on Sunday where I will learn more about which plants I can collect from the wild and eat and, hopefully learn a bit more French

      Enjoy your weekend folks.

        What a lovely thread!
Hopefully spending some time down on the lottie at some point, doesn't matter if its Saturday or Sunday, I want to plant some onions and tatties. Tea at my Mum in Laws on Saturday night (and she's an excellent cook!). Thats about it really. Oh, and playing in the greenhouse as well.
No long walks for Dexter as hes pulled a muscle in the front right leg and I want him to have a rest. (The leg of course, is only really bad when you are watching him! He can run round, bark etc. when he wants to!)
        Have a SUPER weekend everyone!

My OH has gone to Cleathorpes with his mates kite flying, hopefully he won`t come back with a broken collerbone this time.
Kyle has a friend over for a sleep over, I`m not mad he only has the one friend over. lol
Hopefully I will get some more lawn mowing done. My dad is going to give me his cold frame this weekend as he doesn`t need it as he has a huge polly tunnel. Which is a good thing as I have no windowsills left for any more seeds.

Less than 5 miles from us here, hope he has a good time and you get loads done.

Echo your comment on injuries as even though I'm not at work next week, work doesn't need any more customers!

Me, I'll be in Cleethorpes too, at Tescos!! then in the garden doing what needs doing, also must tax car and order new Haws watering can.

              Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Went up town in the morning & bought a thistle weeding thingy.
Then spent the afternoon on the garden (not the lottie)
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

So much for a sunny weekend! Here in Preston/Chorley we had mist yesterday, just a brief bit of sun - today was no better. Cold, windy and cloudy. That didnt stop me from having fun down on the lottie today - and OH made me a compost bin - hows that for true love?
Hows your weekend gone? Did you do what you wanted to do? And in the sunshine?

Oh thank you sweetheart! Please do tell Skinny Dog that Auntie Wellie did go back to England though? I'd hate to think he thought you'd buried me there somewhere and not driven me back to the airport!! Big Hugs all round. XXXX
