Oh, and my weekend - same old, same old.
Have spent the last week turning a waste land at the back of the house (by the terrace, for those in the know ) into something slightly resembling a garden. I am going on a plant group walk on Sunday where I will learn more about which plants I can collect from the wild and eat and, hopefully learn a bit more French
Enjoy your weekend folks.A garden is a lovesome thing, God wot! (Thomas Edward Brown)

What a lovely thread!
Hopefully spending some time down on the lottie at some point, doesn't matter if its Saturday or Sunday, I want to plant some onions and tatties. Tea at my Mum in Laws on Saturday night (and she's an excellent cook!). Thats about it really. Oh, and playing in the greenhouse as well.
No long walks for Dexter as hes pulled a muscle in the front right leg and I want him to have a rest. (The leg of course, is only really bad when you are watching him! He can run round, bark etc. when he wants to!)
Have a SUPER weekend everyone!Bernie aka DDL

My OH has gone to Cleathorpes with his mates kite flying, hopefully he won`t come back with a broken collerbone this time.
Kyle has a friend over for a sleep over, I`m not mad he only has the one friend over. lol
Hopefully I will get some more lawn mowing done. My dad is going to give me his cold frame this weekend as he doesn`t need it as he has a huge polly tunnel. Which is a good thing as I have no windowsills left for any more seeds.I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

Echo your comment on injuries as even though I'm not at work next week, work doesn't need any more customers!

So much for a sunny weekend! Here in Preston/Chorley we had mist yesterday, just a brief bit of sun - today was no better. Cold, windy and cloudy. That didnt stop me from having fun down on the lottie today - and OH made me a compost bin - hows that for true love?
Hows your weekend gone? Did you do what you wanted to do? And in the sunshine?Last edited by dexterdoglancashire; 22-03-2009, 04:58 PM.Bernie aka DDL
