appologies if it has.

UKTV Gardens tonight has Grow your own Veg at 8pm and Digging for victory at 8-30pm.

I thought it would be worth a mention. as a total newbie i'll be watching it...

There was quite a discussion on Digging for victory at the time. If i recall right there was a grape featured. I didn't think it was worthwhile except the bit about the old chap teaching the kids and making them soup. Bit repetitive and not informative. not a fan of Hanna or chris anyway.

GYO veg was a pretty good show for a newbie though....enjoy

I was never a fan of Dig for Victory either. There was never a second series, so perhaps it wasn't popular with many. Grow your Own Veg was far more informative. The best though was The Big Dig shown last week, I'm afraid, but they repeat it frequently. Again not particularly informative, but inspirational in a weird 'I could do that' sort of way.
