And only count lifes sunny hours,

omg! how fabulous they are! I'm so jealous that your cats cosy in together - minimum distance between my lot is at least a room's width!

Well done to that kitty mom!

We will be advertising them all. They actually both belong to son No.2 who's at uni, so he'll get half of the dosh, I get the rest towards vet bills and food etc. He really misses them, but of course he can't have them in a student house. We have 6 cats already so we can't keep one, OH won't agree to another . Only one is really mine, the others all belong to the kids, but I can see them staying with me for a long time yet
Jack and Smokey can be very loving, except when he upsets her, then he gets a clip round the ear . In the last week, she'd been laying out in the sun, and he sat up on the fence, as if he was keeping look out for her. He's now prowling around and peeking in, but he's got more sense than to get closer. Once they start walking he'll take a more active role, playing with them etc. In fact the other two males (both neutered), were great with the last lot too, playing and curling up with them. It's the speyed females that get stressy!

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

            Warning Cute Piccies

For those who wanted an update, the kittens are all doing fine and growing very quickly. As you can see, their ears and noses are beginning to darken now, but as they don't hold their heads up yet, they are difficult to arrange for a photo shoot . Mum is coping well, she's not really red-eyed from exhaustion, just my poor photography with my phone .

How absolutely gorgeous, I'd really really really love a kitten but it would upset our current cat so much that I couldn't do it to her. (she's a spoilt little madam )

I'll look forward to future picture updates, even if I can't have one I can still go "aaaahhhhh sweet"

I say 'Lady' - I had to go and get her in this afternoon as she was outside giving next-door's fit young (twice the size of her!) tabby fella a darn good pasting

Good girl one for the girls! Nice one G4, you bought her up well then! lol

Remember my Blaze? The black and white cat that was all sweetnes and light with you the other week! Well she can howel with the best of them, she makes my blood curdle when she gets mad at another cat in her garden.

She wares the trousers in the cat house now the old boy is getting on a bit. Blaze has steped up to the plate big time! I dread to think what she would be like in full flight This might just be the year to find out once she starts to go out more as the weather warms up. We have so many new cats living near us now, we will have to see how things go.

We weren't going to name them, the girls will get even more attached, and they will all have to go. In the past the last of the litter usually gets named by DD, and spoiled rotten. She's just noticed they have opened their eyes today, so be prepared for more photos later, she's already been snapping away, but they need re-sizing first.
