just been told that i got help from you lot by a friend so ive joined the vine to thank everyone who joined . I ve been after chickens for years and when my friend heard about it she set up the facebook group to help me and wind up my wife , i think it worked on both acounts although she does see the funny side of it and has had a good laugh at it all and the brilliant jokes and comments people have put . We got over 200 ( a total set by my wife in smugly knowing i had no chance but she never relied on how passionate and daft people are ) . I will finally get my chickens and will be using the vine to obtain further information and help . Thanks you lot ian :

Love it! Welcome to the Vine, Ian, and congrats on getting your 200, I've just joined your group even though you made the total.

If you need any help, advice, support, or just to flop on the comfy chair in our potting shed, the Rule the Roost section has been a godsend to me. And to my girls for that matter, who are very grateful to the Grapes for preventing me from making some really howling mistakes.

Let's see some pictures when you get your girls

Welcome to the vine IWC! I had hens once, dream of having some again one day.

Even had a 'virtual' hen here on the vine, so great is my wish for hens.

                        My time will come.

Please do let us know how things go - up dates would be great!

So glad you got to 200!

Hi and welcome IWC I don't 'do' bookface either, but I knew you'd get there as soon as I heard about it. I hope your wife is getting used to the idea now. My husband wasn't too keen to start with, but we've got 20 now!
