Was that the sound of a champers cork being popped? I do hope so.

I'd LOVE to put you out of your misery, but sadly, I can't......?
" Oh no ..... don't cry now! " - just think how Wellie, Trousers and BC feel, eh?!

I was completely Vicki Pollard 'Rubbash' at work today, and so was Trousers (don't know what the cat was like, because I've not asked her yet) but we all started off the day jumping up and down, thinking that 'Today Was The Day, Yippee', and then our Conveyancing Solicitor, Helen, phoned Trousers to say that the buyer hasn't Exchanged, and won't be, until she's sure that her Building Society can put the completion funds in place by 17th April.

Now, given that we were supposed to be working to a completion date of 6th of April, which everyone knew, and is when our new home is ready to move into, and our buyer knew that Donkeys' Years Ago, I'm left thinking: "Doh!?" Did this lady not know that she was going to have to give notice on her high interest account to pay for Holly Cottage with 'real money' on the day?

And if she's stupid enough to think that I'm going to fall for her slipping in at the last minute and offer less money, (look away children), she can **** RIGHT off!! Excuse my French.

Honestly, I could bore you till the cows come home with much, much more information, but I'm trying to look on the bright side of life?! X

I asked Trousers earlier this evening just what it was that he was MOST looking forward to in our new home? I'd expected something FAR more, but evidently, he's looking forward to having a downstairs toilet.

Can you begin to understand why I give up and go mad sometimes?!

Anyway. I'm sorry not to bring you better news this evening. I'm gutted too....
But thankfully, I spent a good part of my frustrating day with Auntie Wellie's little Twinkle Toes, and once the two of us were covered from head to toe in her lunch, I kind of got my sense of humour back?!

Tomorrow is indeed another day, so we'll see what it brings.....

Dumb question Wellie - but where/what is your new house? Are you moving a long way away from where you are now?

No, not at all far DDL. Ten miles away? and it's quite lovely, thankfully! X

I think, from what Ive seen and gathered from your posts, that your current house is lovely - and your garden fab! I'm sure you'll be very happy in your new home - I do hope things work out for you quicker rather than sooner.

Okay. I think it's Quality Time for us now, so we'll say night night.
Let's hope tomorrow brings good news.
