I started going grey in my late twenties.

I coloured it for years, then I got tired of the ever faster appearance of regrowth along the parting.

So now it's grey. I keep my eyebrows lightly coloured because they're grey too, darkening them makes them look better.

For the grey hair, a good cut makes all the difference.

I was 16 when I started to go grey but I blame my ex husband as its when I first started going out with him.

My daughter is blonde. When she was about 15 or 16 like most girls she started experimenting with cosmetics and fashions. For a while she took to dyeing her hair a sort of chestnut brown ( which did actually suit her)
She must have been the only woman in the country, who when she said 'Can you do my roots?' She meant can you make them dark not blonde!

Why do blond women dye their roots black?

I did use JFM for a spell years ago but always feel it looks sooooo obvious when a guy dyes his hair that i stopped using it.

Why dye it.? You should show your grey and grow old disgracefully.

I think that's one of those things no-one admits to!

Personally (not that anyone except me is bothered) I've just turned 46, and the carpet's still the same colour as the curtains - even if the curtains are dyed LOL

i got my first one about 15, then the occasional one after that, then bit by bit i've got a few more, but it's still mostly brown underneath whatever colour i decide to dye it
