  • Maths Competition

I was given my old post office savings book a few months back, by my mother who was cleaning out stuff.

In 1981, it had the knee-trembling balance of £1. I had been desperate and taken out the other £1 [I remember the day well...the day my savings halved!].

Any ideas how much it will be worth when I visit the post office tomorrow to enquire?

Closest wins a random packet of heritage tomatoes.
